FY Finance Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

FY Finance is a Shopify embedded application published by FY Network Inc. ("FY Network," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how FY Finance handles data when you install and use the application.

2. Data We Access

FY Finance accesses the following data through Shopify's authenticated Admin API using the permissions you grant during installation:

  • Order data (totals, dates, statuses)
  • Payment and payout data
  • Shop information (name, currency, timezone)

This data is used solely to calculate and display financial summaries within the application.

3. Zero Data Storage

FY Finance does not store, copy, or retain any of your financial data. All figures are fetched live from Shopify's API on each page load and are never written to any database or file system outside of Shopify. The only data we store is your shop domain and your preferred default date range setting.

4. No Third-Party Sharing

Your Shopify financial data is never shared with, sold to, or transmitted to any third party. Data flows exclusively between Shopify's servers and your browser.

5. Data Deletion

Uninstalling FY Finance removes all stored preferences. Since no financial data is stored, there is nothing to delete beyond the shop domain and date range preference. We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks for data deletion requests.

6. Children's Privacy

FY Finance is a business tool intended for Shopify merchants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
