FY Finance Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using FY Finance ("the App"), a Shopify embedded application published by FY Network Inc. ("FY Network," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

FY Finance is a Shopify application that displays financial summaries, revenue breakdowns, and tax estimates using data from the Shopify Admin API. The App provides a dashboard view of your store's financial data.

3. Informational Purposes Only

All financial summaries, reports, and calculations displayed by FY Finance are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. You should not rely solely on FY Finance for tax filing, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or any business decision.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy

FY Finance relies entirely on data returned by Shopify's API. We do not independently verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any financial figures displayed. Rounding, API limitations, currency conversions, and data timing may cause discrepancies. Always verify all figures with your accountant or qualified financial professional.

5. Tax Reports Disclaimer

Tax summaries displayed in FY Finance are calculated from order data and may not reflect your actual tax obligations. Tax laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. Consult a qualified tax professional for tax compliance.

6. No Data Storage

FY Finance does not store your financial data. All information is fetched live from Shopify on each page load. We store only your shop domain and date range preference. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability

FY Finance depends on Shopify's API availability. We are not responsible for downtime, data unavailability, or errors caused by Shopify platform issues.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FY Network Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of FY Finance, including but not limited to:

  • Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in financial data displayed
  • Decisions made based on data shown in the App
  • Tax penalties, underpayments, or overpayments resulting from reliance on the App
  • Loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or unavailability

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of FY Finance shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Jersey.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of FY Finance after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
